After taking a few years off, my husband’s family again gathered at the beach for a week long vacation. We went back to the Outer Banks and had a great week. I wish I lived closer to the beach to take more pictures there but I will have to settle for the few times I am there during the year. But we took advantage of our location and got some family and kid pictures one evening. Real quick and painless before the sun went down. 🙂 Sometimes as a photographer you wonder why you are putting yourself through dressing your kids and trying to get them to take a picture but then once you have the images you know it is SO worth it. They grow so fast (next year there will be another one in the bunch!) and it is so important to capture their sweet faces regularly. Getting the adults in pictures is equally as important and definitely glanced over a lot of the time. But we now have everyone captured in time. 🙂
