I captured this adorable family back in the spring while Momma was still pregnant with her first little girl. Late summer rolled around and they decided a new family picture was needed since Miss I had joined the family. We had a beautiful evening out at Jordan Lake. And even though little Miss was a bit fussy we just patiently waited for her to settle. Can’t believe how fast she is growing! Hope you are settling into your new routine, C Family!

Mom had a vision for this session! And I loved it! She first wanted to capture Miss S on her exact birthday so we planned for a morning session on a Wednesday. And then she had bought this adorable little white dress to off-set the dark brown of the bridge and the dark greens in the vegetation. This bridge was built by her daddy in the back of their property to cross over some swampy area that they have back there. And yes, I had to borrow some tall boots to get some of these images! Miss S got super brave this day and tried climbing the rails (ALWAYS have mom or dad within arms reach!) and took her first steps later that day! I am so glad we were able to capture Mom’s vision and commemorate Miss S’s first birthday in a special way! 🙂

This family is not only spread out around the country but around the globe! While part of the family was back in the US visiting, Grandma and Grandpa wanted to get everyone together for a family picture. One more granddaughter had been added since their last family portrait! They have a lovely home and yard and so we gathered there to take a few pictures. 19 people was a bit intimidating but I have to say these kids were great! I think some of the grown ups got out of their picture clothes before the kids and jumped in the pool! 🙂 Hope you enjoyed your visit together, T Family and these pictures help you cherish that special time together.

Everyone in this family was spontaneously in the same town one weekend to celebrate a certain little girl’s 2nd birthday and they very last minute asked me to do a session of everyone together. I am so thankful it worked out and the weather cooperated with us! It is hard to get family pictures done when folks starting moving all over the country!
Can’t believe this little guy is two years old either! Where is the time going? We had a really nice morning session (just missed the torrential downpour that happened right after!) at a new little park in Apex. Little man is really into trucks right now so they became the theme of the session. I think it was so great – not only did we capture what he loves at age 2 but they also kept him busy and in one place! Props to mom for the great idea! Enjoy your pictures L family!
