Fall Leaves | Frederick, MD Family Photographer

This little family are friends from our first home in Maryland.  We were up visiting (showing off the grandbaby!) and mom wanted to get some family portraits done with the fall leaves.  Unfortunately, the fall colors were quite as vibrant as we had all hoped but we still got some great pictures.  And what a backdrop!  Love this park – wish it was down here in NC!  Isn’t that covered red bridge charming??  Enjoy your pictures S Family!

Little Ladybug | Apex Children Photographer

Miss H is going to be a ladybug for Halloween!  So we dressed up and took half of her 18 month pictures in her ladybug costume (handmade by her Nana!).  We met at Lake Pine on a chilly fall afternoon and had a lot of fun exploring different areas of the lake.  She is getting so big – here she was a year ago!

Beach Portraits | Outer Banks Family Photography

Back in September we had our yearly vacation with our dear friends at the Outer Banks.  While we were there, the K Family commissioned me to take their family portraits while taking advantage of the gorgeous backdrop.  Rounding up a 3 year old and a 1 year old and making everyone smile and happy is a challenge – especially in a giant sandbox.  🙂  But we got it done and had a good time in the process!  Hope you enjoy your pictures K Family – shooting beach portraits was a fun new challenge for me!

Turning 4! | Raleigh Child Photographer

This little gal was born the summer that my husband and I moved to North Carolina- 4 years ago!  Hard to believe how much has changed in 4 years.  Miss A was just a babe not that long ago!
I absolutely adore the images that we got from this session.  I always have a favorite shot from each session but it was hard to choose this time!  First one up is one of my favorite pictures from this shoot and that I have ever taken.  But all the rest are pretty cute too.  🙂  Thanks for being such a great model, Miss A!

Back in NC | Cary Children Photographer

These dear friends of ours were living in FL when they had Miss N so I didn’t get to meet her until she was 6 months old. They have moved back to NC and we are so glad! In honor of Miss N’s 6 month birthday we had a mini photo shoot in her beautiful nursery. She is absolutely adorable! Can’t wait to do her 9 month pictures in the fall!
